Training requires completion of on-the-job training (OJT). The role involves wet floors, noise, and exposure to production tools, with a focus on safety and operational excellence.

Job description

**Job Description**This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product thru the production process and insuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying supervisor if machines should require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. ***Responsible for setting up machine and/or breaking down machine.*** **Pay is $19.45 per hour** PLUS an additional $2 per hour shift differential.Working Conditions Team members work in a poultry processing environment and may be exposed to: • Wet floors and slippery surfaces • Production line equipment • Repetitive motion activities • Product splash exposure • Elevated noise levels • Potential laceration and puncture hazards associated with production tools and equipmentSafety Expectations • Follow all Tyson Foods safety procedures and workplace policies. • Use designated handrails and walkways. • Never walk on drain covers. • Wear required PPE at all times. • Perform stretching activities before and during the shift to help reduce repetitive-motion injuries. • Report unsafe conditions immediately to leadership.Training Requirements • Successful completion of On-the-Job Training (OJT).
