Olympic Steel, Inc. is seeking a Machine Operator to safely set up and operate automatic leveling, sheeting, and related equipment to meet customer specifications. You will work from orders, engineered layouts, and general instructions to achieve high-quality, efficient production.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Mechanically inclined, production-oriented and safety and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Basic math skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work under general supervision.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings.
• Functional literacy.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs preferred.
• Previous experience with precision instruments preferred.

Responsibilities
