Job summary

Electronic Coating Technologies (ECT) in Clifton Park, NY is hiring a Machine Operator to follow SOPs and operate equipment for coating and converting products. The role requires performing automated coating steps and maintaining quality standards.

You will log production data in the MRP system, seek QA feedback, and adhere to ISO/ESD procedures while working a fast-paced shift. Physical requirements include standing most of the shift and lifting up to 40 lb.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of IPC standards preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to lift 40 lb.

Responsibilities

• Run automated processes including masking, gelling, conformal coating, potting and encapsulating.
• Seek quality assurance feedback at appropriate times throughout the shift.
• Ensure ISO and ESD standard operating procedures are followed exactly.
• Using the MRP system, log information accurately and diligently.
• Elevate quality concerns to QC.
• Safely operate process equipment as directed by supervisor, work instruction, or equipment manual.

About You

We’re seeking a results-focused, innovative, self-driven and well-qualified individual to join our talented team as our Machine Operator. Based out of our Clifton Park, New York location, you will be expected to follow Standard Operating procedures to safely operate equipment that coats and converts work into finished product and/or finished potted product.

You will:

• Run automated processes including masking, gelling, conformal coating, potting and encapsulating.
• Seek quality assurance feedback at appropriate times throughout the shift
• Ensure ISO and ESD standard operating procedures are followed exactly
• Using the MRP system, log information accurately and diligently.
• Elevate quality concerns to QC.
• Safely operate process equipment as directed by supervisor, work instruction, or equipment manual.

You should have:

• High school diploma, or equivalent, required.
• Knowledge of IPC standards preferred
• Must be able to work on a fast-paced schedule throughout the shift.
• Ability to stay focused doing repetitive work.
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Physical requirements:

• Position requires at least 90% of time on the production floor standing/walking
• Ability to lift 40lb for short periods of time.
• Manual dexterity is a plus

Salary Range

$20.00 per hour
