Job summary

Aleron in Plattsburgh, NY seeks a Production Operator on a 12-month contract with potential to convert to permanent. The role focuses on production, equipment setup, material handling, testing, and quality inspection to deliver high-quality products on schedule.

You will work Mon-Fri, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, operate robotics and production equipment, perform basic testing, follow MRP guidance, and adhere to safety and ESD rules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months of manufacturing/production experience in electronics, electrical, or mechanical devices.

Responsibilities

• Handle, store goods and raw materials in the factory or the warehouse.
• Set up production equipment: robot, machine, workstation, test bench, inspection tool, warehouse equipment.
• Clean and maintain working areas and production equipment.
• Perform manufacturing/production/test tasks as planned by the MRP.
• Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
• Alert the Team Leader on process drift or quality problem.
• Pack goods ready for shipment in crates or other containers.

What You'll Do

• Handle, store goods, and raw materials in the factory or the warehouse

• Perform manufacturing/production/test tasks as planned by the MRP
• Respect the task time and quality level assigned by operating instructions, methods, process, and MRP routing
• Identify parts as needed by the operating instruction
• Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks
• Alert the Team Leader on process drift or quality problem
• Complete tally sheet on the MRP tool if requested by the Team leader
• Pack goods ready for shipment in crates or other containers
• Respect ESD rules for electronics device production
• Complies with EHS rules
