Main Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machines for each production run, ensuring proper settings for cycle times.
• Select from pre-set programs to operate machines.
• Operate machines to produce components according to established specifications and quality standards.
• Assemble products to the work instructions provided via ISO 9001 certification.
• Conduct regular quality checks on produced components to ensure they meet specified criteria; identify and address any defects or issues promptly.
• Optimize machine output by loading the next product prior to mold cycle completion.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment; report any safety concerns or incidents immediately.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, including quantities produced, downtime, and any issues encountered during the manufacturing process.
• Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality control staff, to ensure seamless production processes and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

• 3-5 years prior experience as a machinist required on CNC mills and lathes.
• Technical knowledge of machines and related equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Ability to install tools into machine and make tooling insert changes, as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Work Location

This in-person position will work out of the Victor, NY facility.

$22 - $25 / hour
