Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator / Packer I for a first shift (Mon-Fri, 6am-2:30pm) to produce products in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities include setting up machines, reading BOMs, coordinating with Cell Lead, and ensuring quality per specs.

The role involves following safety procedures in a shop environment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, basic Excel skills, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings (BOM).
• Strong mechanical aptitude for operating and assembling parts.
• Effective communication with Cell Lead and team members.
• Ability to work independently and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate various machines and assemble parts as directed by Cell Lead.
• Read and understand bill of materials and blueprints.
• Communicate with Cell Lead on discrepancies in drawings or BOM.
• Work with Quality to inspect during production and ensure specs.
• Operate air and power tools as needed.
• Maintain productivity to meet production standards.
• Keep work area clean and organized and follow safety procedures.
