Job summary

TE Connectivity seeks a dedicated Machine Operator II for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:30pm–11pm) in Grayslake, IL. You will set up and operate various machines, read BOMs and blueprints, and work closely with the Cell Lead to ensure product quality and timely production.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, basic Excel, and mechanical aptitude. This role involves standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, and complying with safety procedures in a shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic computer skills and Excel familiarity.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to operate and understand various shop tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines and assemble parts as directed.
• Read BOMs and blueprints for production.
• Coordinate with Cell Lead on drawing/BOM discrepancies.
• Assist Quality with inspections to meet specs.
• Use air/power tools as needed in manufacturing.
• Maintain productivity and clean, organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
