EXPERIENCED Contents Packer and Cleaning Technician

Job Overview

Rainbow International is looking for a Contents Specialist to help clients who have experienced a fire or water loss in their home. The role involves packing and transporting the contents of their home to our facility for cleaning and restoration.

Responsibilities

• Complete an inventory of all client items, including those damaged beyond repair.
• Wrap items to prevent damage, box them up, and load them into wooden vaults.
• Unload vaults at the cleaning facility for dry-cleaning or wet-cleaning.
• Carefully repackage items, scan them back into the inventory program, and mark them as restored.
• Return items to the client's home and unload them from the vaults.
• Perform on-site cleaning when damage is not extensive.

Qualifications

• Exercise care with others' possessions during packing and cleaning.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Familiarity with inventory management software (iCat) and attention to detail.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, along with a clean background check.

Compensation

$14 to $17 per hour depending on experience.
