Job summary

Vestcom, a unit of Avery Dennison, is seeking a Mechanical Machine Operator for our label production line. You will be a Technical Pilot, owning your equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high-quality output to meet retail deadlines.

Starting pay is $20.50 per hour, with a night shift 9:30pm to 6am, Saturday through Wednesday. We value safety, precision, and teamwork, and offer benefits and opportunities within a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of related experience in a production environment.
• Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail.

Starting Pay: $20.50/hr

Shift: 9:30pm-6am, Saturday - Wednesday

Your Role

As a Technical Pilot of our label machines, you will ensure high-quality production to meet critical retail deadlines. You won't just push buttons; you will "own" your equipment, troubleshoot issues, and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate & Troubleshoot: Set up and run label machines efficiently while maintaining a "zero-defect" mindset.
• Resource Management: Minimize waste and maintain an accurate log of raw materials using our ERP system.
• Maintenance: Responsible for the upkeep of all dies and reporting technical issues to the Facility Manager.
• Safety & Quality: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow all SOPs and safety protocols (PPE).
