Charter Steel in Saukville, WI is hiring a Wire Draw Operator to run a wire draw machine, package coils, and move materials with a forklift. The position features 12‑hour night shifts (5pm–5am) and pays $26.50 per hour plus a $2,000 sign‑on bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or supported via GED Works.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial production is preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Safety-conscious and able to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate a wire draw machine to create finished products
• Package steel coils to meet customer specifications
• Transport coils for storage using a forklift
• Frequent standing and walking, reaching above shoulder and lifting up to 35 lbs
• Rotating 12-hour shift schedule: 5pm–5am, 5 nights on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off

Wire Draw Operator | 5pm -5am, 12-hour shifts | $26.50/hr

• Operate a wire draw machine to create finished products
• Package steel coils to meet customer specifications
• Transport coils for storage using a forklift.
• Frequent standing and walking reaching above shoulder and lifting up to 35lbs
• Rotating 5-2-2-5 Schedule. 12 hour shifts. 5 nights on, 2 off, 2 on, 5 off!
