Matthews Memorialization is seeking a Machine Operator in Aurora, IN to join our manufacturing team. The role offers a competitive starting pay and comprehensive benefits, with opportunities for training and career advancement.

As part of Matthews Memorialization, you will work with production equipment in an industrial setting, operating machinery and hand/power tools. Overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools, forklifts, welding equipment, and cutting torch.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Working with production equipment in an industrial environment.
• Working with machinery, hand and power tools in a fast paced work environment.
• Working with an organization that provides the necessary training to complete the job and advance your career.
• You will be working with production supervisors and operating various machinery to meet production needs.
• Determining parts to be manufactured based upon orders and stock.
• Observe and maintain machinery operation and identifying and defects or malfunctions.
• Multi-tasking and cross training in other departments and machines.
