GZQSO is hiring a Machine Operator for an injection molding environment in Sterling Heights, MI. Training is required on first shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.) for about two weeks before moving to assigned shifts.

The role involves operating machines, inspecting parts, and maintaining quality standards with a focus on safety. Shifts include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with pay starting at $16.00/hour and premiums for later shifts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machines and production equipment according to established procedures.
• Remove finished plastic parts from machines as required.
• Inspect products for defects, proper appearance, and quality.
• Perform basic trimming, finishing, and assembly tasks as needed.
• Package and label completed parts according to production requirements.
• Monitor equipment and notify a supervisor of any issues or irregularities.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines and production instructions.
• Meet production goals while maintaining consistent quality.

Machine Operator – Injection Molding

Location: Sterling Heights, MI (near 18½ Mile Road and Van Dyke)
Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour, plus shift premiums for second and third shifts

Available Shifts

• 1st Shift: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. | $16.00/hour
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. | $16.75/hour (shift premium included)
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. | $17.50/hour (shift premium included)

Training Requirement: All new hires must be available to train on first shift, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., for approximately two weeks before transitioning to their assigned shift.
