Job summary

Hydraflow is seeking a Machine Operator B in Fullerton, CA to set up and operate milling machines, drill presses, vapor honing and related equipment in a dynamic machine shop.

You will read blueprints, select cutting tools, document inspections, and maintain 5S standards while supporting ITAR-compliant operations. Strong attention to detail and English fluency are required; US Person status is a must.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• 1+ years of experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.
• Familiar with calipers, comparators, and micrometers.
• Fluent in English (reading, speaking, writing).
• US Person required (US or Permanent).

Overall Purpose: The Machine Operator B will set up and operate most vertical and horizontal milling machines, automatic and manual drill presses, vapor hone, and punch presses.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Set up machines within the cell
• Perform First Article Inspections
• Inspect parts
• Complete daily paperwork
• Make proper selection of cutting tools, speeds and feeds
• Properly complete dimensional inspection reports
• Properly operate various machines within the department
• Read blue prints
• Perform in-process inspection
• Follow safe work practices
• Clean work areas
• Follow both verbal and written instructions
• Crosstrain in other areas as needed
• Adhere to 5S Standards
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, policies for attendance and punctuality and standards for safety

Other Duties:

• Other duties based on the needs of the Machine Shop

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Work Environment: Machine Shop environment with moderate to high noise level
