CCL is seeking a Machine Operator to run converting equipment, inspect labels for defects, perform quality checks and package labels for shipment. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to read and follow paperwork and tools, with opportunities to use QAD for work orders and label printing.

Ideal candidates have prior production experience and familiarity with slitting, laminating, and different die-cutting processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and understand all associated paperwork and tools.
• Slitting / Laminating experience.
• Rotary die cutting experience.
• Flat Bed die cutting experience.
• Roll fed flexographic experience.

Responsabilités

• Operate converting equipment including slitter, laminating, rotary die cutter, and flatbed die cutter.
• Inspect labels for defects and perform quality checks.
• Package labels for shipment and complete required paperwork.
• Use QAD to issue/receive product to work orders and print labels.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as requested.

Job Summary:

A Machine Operator is a professional who is responsible for operating their assigned machinery. They ensure their machine runs smoothly, works at capacity without issue and is appropriately maintained.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• None

Duties/Responsibilities

• Run various converting equipment including but not limited to:




• slitter machine


• laminating machine


• rotary die cutter


• flatbed die cutter


• rewind tables for product inspection




• Inspect labels for defects


• Perform all required quality checks


• Package labels for shipment


• Complete required paperwork


• Use QAD to issue/receive product to work orders and print core/box labels


• Complete miscellaneous tasks as requested

Skills/Abilities

• Prior production/manufacturing experience


• High level of attention to detail and accuracy


• Demonstrated ability to process product within quality and productivity standards


• Must be able to read and understand all associated paperwork and tools


• Slitting / Laminating experience


• Rotary die cutting experience


• Flat Bed die cutting experience


• Roll fed flexographic experience


• Strong mechanical aptitude


• Strong analytical, organizational, communication and computer skills


• Able to work in a team environment

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing at a machine.


• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
