A leading company in the gaming industry seeks a Machine Operator for its Alpharetta facility. The role involves setting up and managing production machinery, ensuring quality control, and requiring a high school diploma. Ideal candidates should have practical experience and be prepared for a physically demanding work environment.
Machine Operator: Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines, including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery, including feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished products from the line. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Job Level Description: Demonstrates proficiency in and working knowledge of several areas of the function. Handles semi-routine duties.
Education: Must have a high school diploma or equivalency.
Years of Related Experience: 1 to 2 years.
Physical Requirements: The physical demands include sitting, standing, walking, bending, using hands, operating a computer, and specific vision abilities. Frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds. Use of Personal Protective Equipment is mandatory in field, production, or warehouse settings.
