Job summary

Schaeffler is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operator to prepare machines, monitor production, and inspect parts in a fast-paced plant environment. The role requires following procedures, adhering to safety rules, and supporting maintenance activities to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Good visual acuity.
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare machines for the production program by tooling and parametrization according to work order information.
• Check production status within and in between each production sequence and take action for deviations.
• Operate machines and follow documented procedures and processes.
• Inspect manufactured parts, identify defects and discard defective parts according to protocol.
• Support maintenance in repair, downtime prevention and machine inspection.
• Follow safety and production rules and use PPE at all times.
