The Machine Operator III must have excellent mechanical abilities, troubleshooting skills, and be highly motivated to be able to learn and perform independently.

Major Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Follow production procedures to ensure safety, quality, and production demands are met.
• Follow documented work instructions and accurately document relevant operational information as required.
• Trouble shoot technical issues and identify the root cause for the automation line not performing to specification.
• Critically think and solve problems, having a detail-oriented outlook to follow complex instructions.
• Assists with RCA of department inefficiencies, developing and implementing corrections.
• Team involvement and interaction to improve equipment functionality and improved efficiencies.

• Equipment care routines and operation
• Respond to machines faults by observing potential fault causes, reacting to faults, and recovering machine if fault occurs
• Input or correct part tracking information into machine controls for proper operation.
• Diagnosis base level issues and safely reset/restart the equipment.
• Monitor materials levels and replenishes as required to ensure effective operation of automated equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed to ensure continuous operation of equipment. Visually inspects and tests machinery and robots for proper operation.
• Complete and maintain TPM logs.

• Quality standards
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to standards.
• Use instruments and gauges to perform measurements and make informed decisions or actions based on data collected.

• Machine operator III
• Cross trained and capable of operating multiple automated cells in areas.
• Perform production and coordinate team members according to schedule using standard procedures in safe and effective manner in an assigned work area.
• Performs training with new associates within the cell and reviews existing training levels, update training logs and matrices.

• All other duties as assigned by management
  
  

Requirements

• A high school diploma/GED is preferred.
• Previous machine operator experience or comparable education is preferred.
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Individuals must be goal oriented with a high degree of enthusiasm and focused on enhancing product quality, reducing equipment downtime, prolonging asset life cycles, optimizing equipment performance, and increasing production efficiencies.
