Eaton's Reno, NV facility is hiring a Machine Operator II - Presses for the 2nd shift. The role operates and troubleshoots presses, ensuring quality and data accuracy in SAP. Core hours are 2:30PM to 11PM.

Qualified candidates will have at least six months' experience with forming or bending machines, ability to read blueprints, and familiarity with measuring tools. Relocation is not offered.

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Machine Operator II - Presses (2nd Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $22.73 + .50 Shift Differential per hour.

CORE HOURS: 2:30PM - 11PM

What You’ll Do

Eaton’s Electrical division is seeking a Machine Operator II to join our team. This position is at our Reno, NV facility.

In This Function You Will

• Understand and proficiently operate assigned machines/presses
• Troubleshoot various machinery problems
• Identify and tag tubs according to shop orders
• QC and document all parts run on machines
• Retrieve and enter data into SAP computer system
• Inventory components and supplies as needed to ensure efficient and timely production
• Maintain a clean work area

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of the Reno, NV facility will be considered for this position. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience with forming or bending machines.
• Minimum of six (6) months of experience reading drawings or blueprints.
• Experience confirming that parts conform to specs using measuring tools.

Position Criteria

• Ability to operate machinery and presses safely.
• Ability to read, accurately interpret, and produce parts from blueprints and shop drawings.
• Ability to identify different gauges and types of raw material
• Ability to accurately read tape measure, scales, and calipers
• Ability to work effectively and productively as member of a team with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.
• Able to lift and bend on a continuous basis
• Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance.
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment as required by company policy and procedure.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to cold/heat weather conditions while shipping doors are open
• Fast paced working, while maintaining safety priorities
