Job summary

Stryker Group in Salt Lake City is hiring a Machine Operator II to work on manufacturing lines, collaborating with operators and leadership to meet production goals.

You will perform setup, operate equipment, inspect parts with precision tools, document production data, and assist with lot closures/openings. Preferred candidates have machine operation experience and a high school diploma; the role offers a $2 shift premium and bonus potential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating manufacturing equipment.
• Familiar with reading part prints/blueprints.
• Precise measurement equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple manufacturing equipment with limited supervision.
• Assist front line leadership with lot closures/openings and inventory control.
• Inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment and maintain production records.
• Troubleshoot basic quality concerns and read part prints/blueprints to meet production goals.
• Train others to recognize cosmetic defects and report safety concerns and documentation errors.
• Ensure quality and adherence to process requirements by following certified processes.
• Record information on shop floor paperwork and maintain accurate records.
