Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Machine Operator II to join our Shannon team. The role focuses on programming, operating, and maintaining card/reader equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity.

You will support production leadership and act as a back-up when needed. The ideal candidate has at least one year of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma, and familiarity with MS Office and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with MS Office applications.
• Familiar with operating systems such as Windows; able to navigate Excel.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate automatic and semi-automatic machines.
• Perform daily 5S and PM of equipment and surrounding areas.
• Verify BOMs, programming requirements, product types, artwork and markings.
• Ensure delivery targets and efficiency metrics are met.
• Be the point of contact between production and support to resolve issues.
