Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Machine Operator II in Austin, TX to set up and run automated and semi-automatic machines, perform light maintenance, and ensure output meets safety and quality standards. The role requires at least one year of fabrication experience and strong English communication.

Candidates should be detail-oriented, able to read technical documentation, and proficient with MS Office and Windows OS. Overtime and shift flexibility may be required in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least one year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret technical information and specifications.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a variety of automatic and semi-automatic machines.
• Perform light maintenance and routine checks on equipment.
• Verify BOMs, programming requirements, product type, artwork, and markings.
• Follow SOPs and work instructions; log and escalate safety or quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and teamwork with peers.
