Job summary

Tosoh Quartz, Inc. is looking for a Machine Operator II for the 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm shift, Monday through Friday with a 10% shift differential. You will set up and operate precision production equipment, inspect quartz glass parts, and ensure compliance with drawings and process documentation.

Strong attention to detail and experience with calipers and micrometers are required. The role emphasizes safe, organized work practices, daily maintenance of equipment, and contributing to productivity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience reading and following detailed instructions.
• Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment including saws, drills, lapping and polishing machines.
• Produce quartz glass parts to conform to specifications and inspect them for quality.
• Follow process procedures and work instructions; verify conformance with inspection tools.
• Maintain equipment and a clean, safe work area.
• Monitor production processes to ensure quality and productivity.
