Role: Machine Operator II

Operate automatic packing machines to pack products in shipping cartons to ensure continuous line production.

What You Get To Do
  1. Lead and instruct a team of co-workers on complex packaging line(s) through set up, adjustment, and changeover.
  2. Demonstrate and make minor repairs and/or adjustments to equipment as needed.
  3. Ensure proper safety, quality and sanitation checks and documentation are complete.
  4. Communicate with Control Room and Warehouse on material requirements, including coffee, tea and packaging.
  5. Document material usage, and rejects/defects as needed.
  6. Verify production quantities for accurate inventory postings in ERP.
  7. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) as needed.
  8. Use knowledge, creativity, and continuous improvement initiatives for efficiencies, safety and quality improvements.
  9. Assist with other packaging lines/personnel as required.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Bring To The Role
  1. High School diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Must be fully qualified and demonstrate efficient operations of at least three (3) different types of packaging machines.
  3. Experience in food/beverage or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferred.
  4. Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
  5. Ability to demonstrate initiative, take direction, and execute efficiently, following safety and quality guidelines.
  6. Ability to train and lead others, communicate effectively, and provide positive feedback.
  7. Flexible working hours, including overtime and weekends.
  8. Demonstrate safe work habits and strong work ethics.
  9. Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  10. Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Other Important Information
  • Days: 6:00 a.m. - 6:15 p.m.
  • Nights: 6:00 p.m. - 6:15 a.m.
