Primary Responsibility

The Gluer Operator is responsible for the safe setup and operation of the folder/gluer machine, ensuring high-quality packaging and products are produced efficiently and in accordance with standards and goals.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust the machine safely to meet target speeds and quality standards, working independently.
• Perform startup, setup, and adjustments with precision within scheduled timeframes.
• Adhere to quality procedures, conduct checks, and ensure customer specifications are met; identify and report defects.
• Follow safety policies, wear PPE, and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues, assist with minor repairs.
• Review previous shift reports, verify production schedules, and document production data accurately.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Assist in feeding and packing processes, ensuring proper case packing and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and perform routine maintenance as scheduled.
• Seek improvements and innovations to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Support other departments as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred; 1+ years operating a folder/gluer machine; basic computer skills; mechanical aptitude.

Language Skills: Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English effectively.

Shift: 3rd Shift - 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
