$17.50/hr. on W2

Job Description:

Schedule: 1st Shift: 5:30am - 2:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with packaging on a press machine, working alongside the machine operator. Remove rolls from the machine and place them into boxes.
• Fill boxes, tape them, and place on pallets. Move full pallets using a pallet jack to designated areas.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Steel toe shoes are required; safety glasses, ear plugs, and high visibility vests are provided.
• No prior machine experience is necessary.
• This is a special project lasting up to a year or longer, with potential for permanent hire before the project concludes.
• Operate basic finishing equipment and tools based on established processes and instructions. Follow work orders, perform quality tests, and meet productivity standards.
• Learn about tools and equipment used in routine machine operations under supervision. Understand and apply company policies and procedures.
• Build productive relationships internally and resolve simple problems.
• Comply with all safety practices and regulations. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent vocational qualification. Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
