The Machine Operator II position at Tremco Construction Products Group involves starting, troubleshooting, and operating manufacturing equipment safely. There are three levels of Machine Operators (I, II, & III), with the level determined by experience, ability to perform various roles, and troubleshooting skills.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform work safely by following all safety rules and procedures.
• Operate and maintain assigned machines following standard procedures.
• Meet or exceed production output standards.
• Ensure products meet tolerances and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Package, label, and store products.
• Cross-train on other production functions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Report safety, quality, and mechanical issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
• Set up and operate off-line and secondary equipment if applicable.
• Use and read a tape measure; convert decimals to fractions; utilize basic hand tools.

Qualifications

• Education: No formal education required.
• Experience: Manual labor or construction experience preferred but not required; forklift experience is a plus.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Benefits and Compensation
