Job Overview

The Machine Operator Level 2 is a tiered position following successful evaluation of a Level One Operator after 1 year of experience operating all pieces of Single Serve Equipment. This role involves running equipment at optimal efficiency, maintaining up-to-date troubleshooting skills, and training Level 1 operators to enhance their knowledge and troubleshooting abilities.

Job Functions

1. Ensure all training from Level 1 is maintained and executed at a high standard.
2. Log and communicate good run settings and operational changes to Single Serve/Maintenance Leadership.
3. Make adjustments to machinery independently when appropriate, explaining reasons for changes to leadership.
4. Assist Maintenance Technicians during downtime and preventative maintenance.
5. Communicate efficiency metrics and troubleshoot to restore machines to steady operation.
6. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all equipment and perform at high operational levels.

Job Duties

• Operate production machinery effectively to meet production and waste goals.
• Communicate issues, findings, and updates effectively with leadership.
• Maintain a clean work environment and machinery.
• Record all operational changes and downtime accurately.
• Serve as a liaison between Single Serve and Maintenance teams.
• Pursue ongoing education on equipment.
• Master primary and secondary machines (e.g., Rychiger/Schubert, Schubert/Immy).
