Job summary

NEOTech is seeking a 5DX Operator to inspect product runs on the SMT line using 5DX x-ray equipment. You will verify program compliance, enter defect data into OCuity, and maintain data flow between systems. This role requires adherence to ESD, MSD handling, and IPC-A-610 standards.

The position supports ISO quality systems, 5S practices, and cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 0–6 months related experience; US citizen or eligible status is required

At Neotech, “We make amazing things happen.” We provide an amazing work environment and create dedicated products for our technical customers who deliver amazing innovative global solutions!Summary:the 5DX Operator performs inspection of product run through Automated 5DX x-ray inspection equipment as it is manufactured on the SMT line.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Verify process compliance to established 5DX programs with respect to selecting programs, identifying failures called out by the program and entering defect data into OCuity, as well as data transfer between 5DX and PLR.Adhere to all ESD requirements and Board Handling.Use of Moisture Sensitive Device (MSD) handling requirements based on the components’ moisture sensitive levels (MSL).Verify product compliance to workmanship standards as documented in work instructions.Verify integrity of data collected by machinery.Communicate defects not captured by equipment to responsible personnel for enhancement of program integrity.Communicate to assembly operators defects being noted during the 5DX program review.Support and follow all ISO standards related to NEOTech's various Quality Management Systems.
