Job summary

Rockline Industries in Morristown, TN is seeking a Machine Operator I Trainee to support the safe and efficient production of wet wipes. You will set up and operate automatic packaging equipment, monitor quality, and document results in a cGMP environment.

  • Document quality checks and results; use JD Edwards, Factory Talk, Docushare, DSI scans.

  • Willingness to perform other related tasks as needed; safety-sensitive role.

TITLE: Machine Operator I Trainee
SHIFT: Day Shift (7:00am - 7:00pm on a 2-2-3 rotation)
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: $19.50/hour

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Machine Operator position is responsible for ensuring the continuing safe and efficient production process for the Morristown facility, including the set-up, validation and operation of automatic packaging equipment that produces wet wipes.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Support the production and packaging of finished goods.
  • Operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain production equipment to get maximum performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient production of a quality product in an FDA-regulated facility. Follow cGMP procedures.
  • Utilize JD Edwards, Factory Talk, Docushare, and DSI scan guns to safely produce quality products to customer specifications.
  • Daily responsibility for performing quality checks, sampling and accurately completing required documentation.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with computer usage within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail in daily work as well as extensive documentation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and motivation for continuous learning.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to stand during12 hours shifts with regular breaks.
