Medline in Redmond, Oregon is hiring a Machine Operator I to sort, decontaminate and dry invasive medical devices in a regulated, climate-controlled facility. You will work with chemicals, sharp instruments, and demonstrate attention to documentation accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in basic English with management and co-workers.
• Must be able to use a computer to locate information and print reports.
• Stand for 8 hour shift with breaks for meals and rest.
• Lift or move batches of devices averaging 45 lbs up to 10 times per shift.

Responsibilities

• Receive containers of devices and confirm paperwork.
• Sort bins by device type in a safe manner.
• Document devices and forward to decontamination or reject ineligible items.
• Decontaminate devices using soaking, ultrasonic, steam cleaning and scrubbing.
• Dry cleaned devices using compressed air and verify proper separation.
• Sign off on documentation and ensure correct transfer to next area.
• Assist other departments to meet production goals.
