Medline in Redmond, Oregon is hiring a Machine Operator I to sort, decontaminate and dry invasive medical devices in a regulated, climate-controlled facility. You will work with chemicals, sharp instruments, and demonstrate attention to documentation accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities

• Receive containers of devices and confirm paperwork.
• Sort bins by device type in a safe manner.
• Document devices and forward to decontamination or reject ineligible items.
• Decontaminate devices using soaking, ultrasonic, steam cleaning and scrubbing.
• Dry cleaned devices using compressed air and verify proper separation.
• Sign off on documentation and ensure correct transfer to next area.
• Assist other departments to meet production goals.

A Machine Operator is responsible for the initial sorting, photographing, decontaminating and drying of all invasive medical devices in the Redmond, Oregon facility. All work performed must comply with Medline ReNewal’s standard operating procedures as well as FDA guidelines to ensure patient safety.
