Job summary

Schwan's is hiring for a full-time production role in a food manufacturing setting in Ohio. The position runs on the 1st shift with starting pay of $21.00 per hour and opportunities for advancement.

You'll be involved in setting up equipment, controlling line speeds, performing quality checks, and completing required production paperwork using SAP and SOPs. The role requires basic education and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with overtime and weekend flexibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable with physical labor in a fast-paced, production environment.
• Be able to stand and walk on concrete floors for long periods and work in varying temperature conditions.
• Flexible working overtime, weekends, and alternative shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and pre-running equipment to ensure proper production startup.
• Controlling line speeds, batch formula, production rates, starting and stopping equipment, and overall product appearance and safety.
• Completing various quality checks.
• Completing all required paperwork (for example: downtime, HACCP, etc., utilizing SAP, SOPs, Safety operation, training, as appropriate).
