Job summary

GOJO Industries, LLC is seeking a Machine Operator I for first shift in Wooster, OH. This 100% onsite role runs 7am–3pm, Monday–Friday, and requires the ability to lift 50 lbs and operate line equipment. You will monitor production lines, perform quality checks, and assist with changeovers under supervision.

Qualifications

• Proficiency gained via on-the-job training in a manufacturing setting.
• Requires prior mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to train others through on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily production schedule.
• Assist with changeovers and minor operation tasks.
• Verify availability of components for orders.
• Retrieve components from staging/kanban for production orders.
• Load equipment with production components (caps, bottles, film, pumps, labels).
• Assist with quality checks and SPC where applicable.
• Maintain line/equipment housekeeping and records for audits.
• Operate machine controls, touch screens, and communication devices.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and report abnormalities to supervision.
• Follow SOPs, cGMP, safety and housekeeping requirements.
