In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with equipment such as Brake Press, CNC Turret, and other production machinery. Whether you're experienced or looking to grow your skills, you’ll be part of a supportive, safety-first environment with opportunities for advancement.
Sets up and operates metal fabricating machines such as brakes, shears, presses, and other production equipment to cut, bend, straighten, and form metal plates, sheets, and structural components used in air conditioning unit production.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos (i.e. safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, shop-floor paperwork, and procedure manuals). Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to perform basic math functions, including working with fractions, decimals, and measurements.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
Forklift certification may be required and must be obtained within three (3) months if applicable.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $19.18 – $27.19 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
