Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to ensure safety and quality in production. You will follow work instructions, operate light equipment, and support 6S standards while maintaining accurate production records.

Attention to detail and a willingness to coordinate with department leads are essential to meet performance metrics and timely changeovers in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or GED is required.
• Experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience with stamping, deburring, spot welding, automation, or chemical safety is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate light manufacturing equipment and follow work instructions.
• Assist in maintaining equipment and plant to Milwaukee 6S standards.
• Accurately record production data.
• Ensure equipment is meeting performance metrics and drive productivity.
• Coordinate with department leads to fulfill work orders.

Job description

A successfulMachine Operatorwill have a strong dedication to safety and quality. Attention to detail is critical to ensuring the highest care is takenwith plant equipment and processes. The ability to understand and follow work instruction whilemaintainingthe 6S and key metrics in the department will help drive the success of themanufacturingprocess.

• Ability to safelyoperatelight manufacturing equipment and follow work instructions during Milwaukee Tool Accessories production
• Assistingin the maintainingofequipment andplantto Milwaukee 6S standards
• Accurately recording production data
• Constantly works to ensure equipment is exceeding performance metrics
• Ensurestimelyjob changeovers
• Coordinates with theDepartment Leads to fulfilWork Orders

Skills & Qualifications:

• Mathematical and analytical skills
• Possess proven mechanical ability oraptitude
• Accuracy and attention to detailrequired
• Familiarity with correct PPE wear and safety policies

Education and/or Experience:

• High School degree/GED
• Experience as an operator in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Previousstamping, deburring, spot welding, experience with automation, or chemical safety experience preferred

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• The employee maybe requiredtooccasionallylift, carry,pushor pull up to35pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
