Job summary

Responsibilities

  • Complete clean-up and housekeeping per procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Comply with quality, safety, and work rules; wear PPE.
  • Cross-train across stations and assist as needed.

The Machine Operator – Operations I/II/III will review work instructions, build product per specifications and within tolerances, complete all clean-up and housekeeping procedures, comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations including wearing all appropriate PPE.ResponsibilitiesProficiently operate basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper qualityDevelop and maintain an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the business.Continuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require and similar jobsSafely handle materials utilizing proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tables.Communicate hazards and/or equipment issues with leadership.Occasionally provide basic training to employees as neededCross train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as neededRequirementsHigh school Diploma or equivalent (GED). 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalentDetail oriented and organized.Work in a team environment in a professional mannerEffectively communicateUtilize applicable hand tools with precision.Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
