The machine operator entails operating high-speed sophisticated machines by managing settings and conducting tests to ensure successful operation in the production process.

Position Summary

The machine operator is responsible for operating high-speed sophisticated machines, managing settings, and conducting tests to ensure efficient production.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Set up, operate, and tend the PT machine.
2. Inspect equipment through troubleshooting, checking for problems, and fixing them immediately to prevent breakdowns.
3. Feed dough into the PT machine.
4. Shovel filling into the PT machine.
5. Monitor the PT process; conduct checks to verify filling, dough consistency, and quality to specifications.
6. Closely monitor PT operation to detect malfunctions and address them promptly to maintain quality.
7. Ensure product runs to specifications, e.g., overlaps.
8. Assist with training backup personnel.
9. Follow established Lockout/Tagout procedures for equipment.
10. Adhere to all safety rules and regulations per company policies.
11. Operate forklift/pallet jack to move raw materials.
12. Report quality issues to the Lead/Manager/Supervisor.
13. Report machinery problems to the Maintenance Team/Lead.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.
