Generac in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is seeking a Machine Operator I to manage machinery operations for product manufacturing. This role entails reviewing work instructions, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and fulfilling operational goals in a safe and efficient manner.
The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of relevant machine operation experience, with a high school diploma or GED. The position requires effective communication within a team and a commitment to safety and quality in the workplace.
Machine Operator I: $25.35
1st Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 5AM - 3PM
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery to manufacture products in a timely manner while fulfilling quality standards. The Machine Operator will review work instructions, build product per specifications and within tolerances, complete all clean‑up and housekeeping procedures, and comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations, including wearing all appropriate PPE.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25–50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer‑based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and ability to adjust focus.
