Generac in Oshkosh, Wisconsin is seeking a Machine Operator I–III to operate manufacturing machinery and produce parts to spec. You will review work instructions, set up equipment, monitor quality, and maintain a clean, safe work area.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED and about 1 year of relevant experience. You’ll work in a team, communicate effectively, and follow PPE and safety rules; occasional lifting of 25–50 lbs is expected. Weekend shift is Saturday–Monday, 5:00 AM–5:00 PM.
The Machine Operator – Operations I/II/III is responsible for operating machinery to manufacture products in a timely manner while fulfilling quality standards. The Machine Operator – Operations I/II/III will review work instructions, build product per specifications and within tolerances, complete all clean-up and housekeeping procedures, comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations including wearing all appropriate PPE.
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds.
