Job summary

Regal Rexnord is hiring for an onsite manufacturing operator in Downers Grove, IL. You will follow process sheets and setup instructions to operate production machines and ensure quality throughout the shift.

The role requires reading blueprints and operating gauges, with a focus on reliability, safety, and meeting customer requirements. A high school diploma and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Key Accountabilities

• Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, Gemba boards, and verbal as well as written instructions.
• Set up, adjust and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Use calipers, micrometers, depth & height gauges, Sunnen gauges & plug gauges, hand tools and operator manual machines.
• Set up and/or verify preset gauges for proper calibration as required, inspect own work to ensure quality and quantity standards.
• Prepare and maintain quality records.

Qualifications

• Able to use saw to cut bar stock
• Previous experience and demonstrated proficiency in operating manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent with mechanical aptitude and minimum one-year previous experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and diagrams in English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Rotate between multiple machines, lift up to 50lbs occasionally and stand for an entire shift.
• Other duties as assigned.
