Operates and maintains primarily non-CNC machinery or processes within the department with care and efficiency, maintaining required production levels (KPIs) and documents device history, service recommendations and scheduled preventative maintenance and performs recommended maintenance on assigned equipment.
One year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred Certificate from college or technical school specific to Machine Operation a plus.
Ability to read, understand and perform standard procedures and work instructions Basic mechanical skills required. Basic math and logic skills required. Basic computer skills and software use experience required. Clear and effective communication skills via email, telephone, and video conferencing.
Travel – typically not required Position typically works in a manufacturing environment on site where environmental conditions are stable. May be exposed to higher levels of noise typical in a manufacturing environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee routinely is required to sit or stand for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, and operate manual and non-manual machinery; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, stretch and lift up to 20 pounds Position requires that the employee use eye protection at all times while working.
