Job summary

Life Fitness / Hammer Strength is seeking a forklift operator/parts handler in Minnesota. You will transport supplies, manage inventory, and coordinate with supervision to minimize downtime while ensuring accurate documentation.

The role includes operating a forklift, completing Oracle transactions, and supporting Robotic Weld operations for department efficiency. The job emphasizes strong English communication, high organization, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Transport supplies, parts and product safely and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate set-ups with Supervisor/Lead to minimize downtime.
• Organize, store and move parts with paperwork and proper labeling.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report shortages/overages.
• Complete Oracle transactions accurately and promptly.
• Assist Operators in delivering Robotic Weld parts to improve efficiency.
• Remove empty pallets and distribute them as needed.
• Place parts correctly and label routers clearly.

Job Purpose

• Transport supplies, parts and product as required by the Robotic Weld process in a safe and efficient manner while maintaining accurate inventory counts and documentation.
• Coordinate with Supervisor/Lead to ensure timely set-ups in order to avoid or minimize down-time.
• Organize, store, and transport parts and supplies as needed and complete all corresponding paperwork. (Routers, tags with proper part numbers, etc.)
• Maintain accurate inventory. Report shortages/overages and supply needs to Supervisor
• Complete all transactions within Oracle accurately and in a timely manner
• Assist Operators in delivering Robotic Weld parts in order to maximize department efficiency
• Remove and distribute empty pallets and baskets as needed
• Place parts in proper location and clearly write on router

Essential Duties

Requirements

• Ability to be forklift certified and operate a forklift. (Forklift experience preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, speak and understand)
• Ability to prioritize work with minimal direction
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and time management skills

Physical Requirements

• Submit to a visual acuity exam.
• Lift up to 30 lbs frequently and 50 lbs occasionally
• Push/pull up to 25 lbs
• Walk, stand, bend, twist/turn, reach overhead and grasp tools as necessary
• Operate forklift for long periods

Your base wage will be between $22.25 - $26.15 per hour and includes eligibility for overtime. The actual wage offer will be based on qualifications, experience, location, and other relevant factors. You’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Production Bonus Plan, which provides opportunities to earn additional compensation based on performance metrics. Bonus eligibility is subject to meeting certain production goals and other criteria as outlined.
