Job summary

Zebra Technologies in Kentucky is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Operator to operate and monitor machinery in our production facility. You will follow safety protocols, uphold quality standards, and help maintain efficient operations on a Monday–Friday shift from 6am to 2pm.

No diploma required; on-the-job training provided. A $17.50 hourly wage plus a $1,500 retention bonus after 6 months supports a rewarding start in a growing team.

What We're Looking For

Operates and monitors machinery and equipment used in manufacturing or production processes. This role requires individuals to follow safety protocols, ensure quality standards are met, and maintain efficiency in operations.

Monday-Friday 6am-2pm

$17.50 per hour

• $1500 Retention Bonus after 6 months of employment with Zebra

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform packing, assembly, and operate machinery as per instructions
• Follow work orders, labeling requirements, and productivity standards
• Conduct quality tests according to ISO procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Communicate basic job-related information and collaborate within the team / department
• Build productive relationships and contribute to team success
• Learn and follow company policies, procedures, and processes under direct supervision
• Train team members when directed by supervisors
• Uphold and follow company values and standards

Key Skills And Competencies

• Basic computer skills
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to maintain productive working relationships in a team-oriented environment
• Open to receiving guidance, feedback, and constructive instructions from supervisors to ensure adherence to processes and standards
• Capable of safely operating and handling light to medium machinery with a focus on precision and adherence to safety protocols

Minimum Education Or Equivalent

• No diploma required. Basic math and reading / writing skills are needed

Minimum Work Experience

• No prior experience required. Training will be provided

Incentive Compensation

In addition to base pay, Zebra offers this role the opportunity to earn a performance-based annual cash incentive, at a target equal to 3% of base pay, in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
