Job summary

Forte Opening Solutions in Marshfield, WI is seeking a manufacturing worker for the 2nd shift (6pm-6am) with duties spanning operation of motorized equipment, sizing checks, and setup adjustments. You will support the team through collaboration, follow safety procedures, and respond to supervisor directions to maintain efficient production on a union site in Wisconsin.

• Read and follow sizing instructions and quality check with tape measure.
• Set up and adjust equipment to sizing specifications, understand drawings, change heads and other tools.
• Perform basic repairs, routing, tracking, preventative maintenance and station keeping.
• Support other team members through collaboration and communication.
• Work safely, wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.

Pay: $25.11, $1.10 shift differential

2nd Shift: 6pm-6am 2 on 2 off 3 15 days a month with 2 weekends. Time and a half on all non scheduled days requested/volunteered regardless of hours.

General Duties

• Operate motorized equipment (I.E forklift, KVAL lifts, etcetera) as needed.
• Read and follow sizing instructions and quality check with tape measure.
• Set up and adjust equipment to sizing specifications, understand drawings, change heads and other tools.
• Miscellaneous duties include basic repairs, routing, tracking, preventative maintenance and station keeping.
• Supports other team members through collaboration and communication.
• Work safely, wear PPE and follow safety procedures.
• Day-to-day direction provided by supervisor.

Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications

• One year of manufacturing experience.
• Highschool diploma or GED.
• Willingness to learn.

Physical Requirements

• Kneeling, squatting, stooping, twisting. (up to 25% in an 8-hour day).
• Work with products up to 60lbs throughout the day. (up to 25% in an 8-hour day.)
• Push/Pull up to 100lbs with assistance (up to 13% in an 8-hour day.)
• Be comfortable standing in place for extended times.
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
