Job summary

Responsibilities include:

  1. Safely operate equipment and perform tasks at the assigned work station following company procedures and practices.
  2. Accurately set up work station equipment daily and complete operations efficiently to produce quality, compliant products according to production schedule.
  3. Report issues affecting production to supervisor and troubleshoot equipment problems.
  4. Safely load raw materials for production of quality products.
  5. Maintain cleanliness of work area following 6’s standards.
  6. Perform quality checks on produced parts to ensure compliance.
  7. Participate in and promote 6’s, Lean, Quality, and safety initiatives.
  8. Perform daily, monthly, and yearly TPM checks.

Requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and read tape measures.
  • Flexibility to work at different stations as needed.
  • Ability to maintain machinery in good working condition.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical items.

Physical requirements and working conditions:

  • May need to lift up to approximately 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods.
  • Work environment may include noise, fumes, and dust.
  • Ability to travel within the facility as needed.
  • Ability to withstand hot and cold environments depending on weather conditions.
