Job summary

Light Corp is seeking an immediate, full-time Machine Operator in Michigan to support our production teams. You will ensure materials are delivered safely and efficiently while maintaining quality and productivity.

Ideal candidates have a GED or high school diploma, can read blueprints, and operate various machines with attention to safety and accuracy. This is a hands-on role requiring teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic reading, math, and computer skills with ability to use measuring tools.
• Previous machine operating experience in brake press, turret, roll forming, or welding preferred.
• Perform daily duties safely and in an ergonomic manner.

LightCorp is seeking an immediate, full-time Machine Operator to play a critical role in keeping our operations moving. You’ll ensure materials are delivered accurately, safely, and efficiently, helping our production teams deliver quality products to our customers every day.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
• Basic reading, math, and computer skills; ability to use measuring tools (tape measure, caliper, micrometer, length/height gauge)
• Previous machine operating experience (i.e., brake press, turret, roll forming, and welding)
• Perform daily duties in a safe, ergonomic manner
• Follow quality standards to produce defect-free products
• Perform tasks efficiently to meet or exceed established rates/requirements

• Ability to push, pull, carry, kneel, and reach in a safe manner
• Reading and following work instructions, control plans, setup instructions, and blueprints as required for processes within their responsibilities
• Accuracy and timely completion of all required electronic transactions
• Completing and documenting all required quality checks
• Delivering quality products to internal/external customers that are clean, organized, and defect-free
• Understanding how to identify non-conforming material and performing subsequent transactions
• Performing efficient setup/changeover of dies, tooling, and machines
• Practicing cleanliness by keeping equipment, work area, and/or workstations organized
• Completing miscellaneous duties and projects as directed by their supervisor.
