Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Machine Helper in Sandston, VA. The role supports the Operator, assists with machine setup, and helps ensure orders meet specifications. Shift is 1st and the position is full-time, hourly.

Ideal candidates will assist in maintaining production, entering data, and training crew members while upholding safety policies in a non-climate-controlled environment. Pratt Industries offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Strong math/algebra skills.
• Ability to learn to operate feed, print, die cutting and delivery sections of the machine.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure that fellow crew members adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Assist in ensuring the proper mechanical set up and running of the machine.
• Assist in ensuring that all orders produced are completed according to specifications provided.
• Maintain acceptable production rates.
• Complete all paper work and data entry as required.
• Assist in the training of crew members.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
