Local machine shop is looking for an experienced Metal Fabrication technician with at least 2 years of experience.

Schedule:

1st shift: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm (Monday – Thursday). Overtime worked on Fridays.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor, measure, and inspect metal steel tubes for defects visually and by touch.
• Operate a tube mill for a 10-hour shift, depending on overtime.
• Maintain attention to detail.

Requirements:

• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions in written, oral, or graphic form.
• At least 1 year of experience in metal fabrication.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals.

Work Environment:

• Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Exposure to wet, hot, and humid conditions.
• Typically loud noise levels.
