Mid-States Bolt & Screw in Cranston, RI is hiring a Machine Operator for 1st shift. You will be trained to perform production, inspection, and machine operation duties, set up heading machinery, adjust for correct part configuration, and monitor equipment. Training will be provided to the right candidates with solid work ethic and mechanical aptitude.

• Set up cold press heading machinery and ensure materials are ready.
• Make mechanical adjustments for proper part configuration.
• Monitor production equipment and maintain a safe workspace.
• Assist shop technicians and materials clerk as needed.
• Follow management directions and maintain cleanliness.

You will be trained as a Machine Operator. You will be trained to:

• Carry out production, inspection, and machine operation duties
• Set up cold press heading machinery and ensure all materials are readily available
• Make mechanical adjustments to machines for proper part configuration
• Effectively monitor production equipment
• Assist the shop technicians and materials clerk as necessary
• Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Use basic hand tools and measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers to the thousands of an inch.
• Follow established safety rules and regulations
