Job summary

HSP US is seeking a diligent Machine Operator to set up, run, and monitor converting or winding equipment in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with supervisors and maintenance staff to ensure quality and on-time production while maintaining a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years operating industrial machinery such as paper converting, film winding, slitting or laminating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, routings and BOMs with accuracy.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to optimize equipment setups.
• Safety-conscious with knowledge of OSHA standards and lockout/tagout.
• Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems for production tracking.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust converting or winding equipment according to production orders.
• Configure machine parameters (speed, tension, width, alignment, cut length).
• Interpret drawings and production specifications and maintain quality.
• Perform in-process and final inspections for dimensions and surface quality.
• Use precision tools and complete SAP production reporting.
• Troubleshoot feed and tension issues and perform minor maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and participate in continuous improvement.
